Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, I have been lucky enough to enjoy Spanish cuisine at its best.

Thanks to my mother, an exceptional chef, I was exposed to the art of cooking at a young age.

Inspired by her and my culture, I strive to bring great food and a great atmosphere to great people.

Tip Top Tapas has served both as a way to engage my passion and to deliver authentic cultural and culinary experiences from Spain.

To me, Tip Top Tapas is passion, excellence and simplicity.

Candido Blanco, Tip Top Tapas Personal Chef & Owner

Since I can remember I can picture my mom and grandma in the kitchen, for breakfast, lunch, dinners and “piscolabis”.

Milking cows, gathering fresh eggs and veggies from the huerta (backyard) were daily tasks during the long summer in Castilla-Leon, harvesting grapes to step on them later and make wine at the end of autumn, chorizo and Serrano Ham making in winter...

The Spanish cuisine consists of a wide range of dishes from tapas to very elaborate delicatessen.

Along with the food, the presentation, atmosphere, passion and sharing with friends is key.

This is what Tip Top Tapas brings to the table: passion for making, experiencing and eating food.

I will be glad if you could keep an image of a dish or a smell many years after the event, and still put a smile on your face, or better yet make your mouth water.
